Study on the Spatial Convergence Club and Growth Momentum of China’s Regional Economies

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the convergence pattern China’s regional economies, explore driving force their coordinated development, and provide policy suggestions for high-quality development. We used nighttime light data from 1992 2020 combined an exploratory spatial analytical method a log-t test nonlinear time-varying factor model identify clubs economic growth drivers different based on econometric model. found that eastern region strong while development central, western, northeastern regions follows long-term trend. Three high-level (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang belong Club 1; Shandong, Hebei, Anhui, Henan, Liaoning 2; Hainan, Fujian, Guangdong 3) have formed in coastal central regions, low-level one (Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Chongqing, Qinghai, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Xizang, Shaanxi, Gansu, Hunan, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Jilin) has regions. Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi are not convergent. these requires improving levels western give full play role Yangtze River Delta as pole its radiation capacity.
